20⚪ Regular
SavageGeese gave this 2026 BMW 3 Series a decidedly negative 20/100 OctaneScore, describing the review as documenting an impulse purchase they now regret. The car does deliver engaging performance, with its trailing arm suspension creating fun, over-steery handling and a healthy straight-six engine, though that same suspension proves scary for daily driving due to significant camber gain. However, reliability is severely compromised—physical controls are broken or breaking, rust damage was spray-painted over by the previous owner, and cabin amenities like air conditioning are missing entirely, with door handles and controls on the verge of falling off. This vehicle is only suitable for someone seeking a project car or weekend toy willing to accept substantial mechanical and cosmetic issues.

90⭐ Super
SavageGeese gave the 2025 BMW M340i an excellent 90/100 rating, calling it his favorite modern sports sedan for its exceptional balance of performance and livability. The standout strengths include its 380+ hp B58 engine that hits 0-60 in the low fours, a recalibrated suspension with improved steering directness, and an enormous interior with a spacious back seat and 16 cubic feet of trunk space. The cabin tech falls slightly short due to iDrive 8.5's menu-heavy interface and limited touch controls, though the overall cabin remains well-executed and highly usable. The M340i is ideal for buyers wanting serious performance and luxury comfort at $60,000 without the styling compromises and extra cost of the full M3.
